I have titled this blog The Merry-go-Round because everyone should jump on it. There is a pretty serious game that has recently struck the wakeboarding PRO circuit by storm. Many of you are aware of this game and have probably played it a time or two before. The game…. Texas Hold em. It all started so innocently at a poker game at Kevin Henshaw’s new house. There was about 10 player’s the first night. This is where the “Merry-go-Round” comes in. We now have 20 players that meet every Wednesday night for a tournament that is usually followed by a cash game where all of us talk about how we are doing on our Pokerstars.com accounts that we play during the week. 

This is the 3rd or 4th time that the Poker Merry-go-Round has hit the wakeboard community and it looks like its going to be a long ride this time. There is a little confusion going on right now though because it would appear that someone has come through town with a bandwagon as well. This Bandwagon has 50cc dirt bikes on it and there are a few people that are trying to get on. I just hope that I can stay on the Merry-go-Round long enough to fund the Bandwagon ride if you know what I am saying. haha 

The moral of this blog is that winter sucks. So heres a toast to the near end of winter and the beginning of the biggest circus of all the tournament season.
